Rules of Kairos d.o.o. on personal data protection
We collect your contact information exclusively on the basis of your entry of personal data in the written forms or via the Contact form on our website www.art-hotel.hr. At the time of entering the data, you have been notified that by entering, you give your consent to KAIROS – U.G.T. d.o.o. to process your personal data. Information about your other rights can be found below this text. We collect other personal data, such as the data we need to use our services, issue invoices, the obligation to pay the Sojourn tax, report to eVisitor and the competent police administration, etc., orally from you or by inspecting your documents.
a) Your basic personal data (name and surname, company, OIB (personal identification number)) and communication data (email address, telephone, fax),
b) Information required to pay for our services (contact information, credit card number and expiration date),
c) Data on guests that we are obliged to report to the eVisitor system (name and surname, place, state and date of birth, citizenship, type and number of identity document, residence and address, date and time of arrival and departure from the facility, gender)
We collect and process personal data in accordance with positive regulations relating to the protection of personal data. We collect and process personal data only:
a) if you have given us consent for that (you can revoke the consent at any time, unless it is data that we are obliged by law to keep);
b) if it is necessary for the conclusion / execution of the contract to which you are a party;
c) if the processing is necessary in order to comply with the legal obligations of KAIROS – U.G.T. d.o.o.
d) if we are obliged to do so by law (e.g. issuing an invoice; responding to a complaint, etc.)
e) processing is necessary for the purposes of fulfilling obligations and exercising special rights of KAIROS – U.G.T. d.o.o. or you as a respondent.

The processing of your personal data is carried out in a legal, fair and transparent manner, and personal data is collected for the purpose of performing the activities of KAIROS – U.G.T. d.o.o., sending offers and benefits of Hotel Art. The purpose is also to answer your questions, improve the experience of visiting our website, improve services, marketing campaigns etc.
The data that we obtain on the basis of consent we store permanently, i.e. until you withdraw such consent. You have the right to inform us at any time that you withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data you have given us. In addition to withdrawing your consent, you may request the deletion of your personal data and other rights under the General Data Protection Regulation. We are obliged to keep part of the personal data in accordance with the positive regulations of the Republic of Croatia. Thus, we are obliged to keep data important for issuing invoices and other data specified by law. You have the right to be informed at any time why we cannot delete certain information. At the end of the retention period, we delete personal data permanently or anonymize them so that they can no longer be linked to you.
In the period of adjustment left to us from the moment the General Data Protection Regulation is adopted until the moment it becomes applicable, we have taken appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect all personal data contained in our databases from loss and unauthorized access. All our cooperating institutions have signed a contract to protect the personal data of our users. Also, every employee of KAIROS – U.G.T. d.o.o. committed to keep all personal data as a business secret.
Your contact information is used by our employees to answer your inquiries or send you notifications about the benefits and new offers we have for you. Data in eVisitor is entered by our employees at the reception, Data that is required for the issuance of invoices according to the Value Added Tax Act are processed by our accounting as a third party.
a) right of access: you have the right to receive confirmation whether we process personal data relating to you and, if such personal data is processed, access to personal data and the following information: purpose of processing, categories of personal data concerned, recipients to whom the personal data is disclosed to and the retention period;
b) Right to rectification: you have the right to obtain correction of inaccurate personal data relating to you without undue delay.
c) right to erasure: you have the right to request the erasure of personal data relating to you, which will be deleted if the legal conditions are met, or if the conditions are not met you will be notified why the data cannot be deleted;
d) the right to a restriction on processing: you have the right to obtain a restriction on processing if the preconditions defined by the General Data Protection Regulation in Article 18 are met.
e) Right to data portability: You have the right to receive personal data relating to you, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and you have the right to transfer this data to another controller if the data is subject to consent or on the contract and if the processing is carried out automatically.
f) Right to object: You have the right, based on your special situation, to object at any time to the processing of personal data relating to you. The complaint is submitted via e-mail to email@example.com with the subject line “Complaint on the processing of personal data".
g) you have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including the creation of a profile, which produces legal effects that concern you or in a similar way significantly affect you.
